Now that we've gotten the token header out of the way… Hi! I am a creative writer who composes copy to influence consumers. I am a musician who writes words and music to stir emotions. I am an author who tells a bit of history. I am that I am, or something like that.
I am a lover of the written word, cinema, esoteric philosophy, American political history, football, and pithy witticisms (see above).
I started my career as a professional musician (that's me playing drums in the video above). I have performed in arenas and clubs to backyards, for as many 60,000 people and as few as, well… how many people can you fit in your basement? I’ve been fortunate enough perform on the same bill with artists as diverse as KISS, The Guess Who, Run-DMC, Joe Cocker, Motorhead, Cypress Hill, Bad Brains, Cheap Trick and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, just to name a few. I have had music featured on TV shows, such as: Dawson’s Creek (The WB), The Shield (FX), Nip/Tuck (FX), Degrassi High (CBC), MTV, American Journal (ABC) and ESPN Extreme Games.
After spending six-and-a-half years at Hill Holliday, I am currently an Associate Creative Director at GYK Antler in Boston, MA, where I’ve been for three years.
